MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal returns to presidential politics this weekend. Jindal is stumping in several states on behalf of White House Hopeful Mitt Romney. The Louisiana leader is a familiar face to the campaign trail. He has been a voice for Romney throughout the campaign season.The governor is scheduled to visit New Hampshire, Iowa and Wisconsin speaking to crowds.
"You're going 80 miles an hour toward a brick wall. Who in the world would vote for FORWARD?" Jindal said to a crowd.
The governor's office says Jindal will return to the state Monday.
President Obama is bringing out the star power in the battleground states before the election. The president is also speaking about jobs, he said under his belt the nation has created 5.5 million jobs.
Challenger Mitt Romney disagrees. The republican presidential candidate is also making his rounds to battleground states. before Tuesday's election.
