MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - The investigation continues after a Saturday afternoon wreck on Louisville Avenue and Newcombe Street. It all happened around 3:00 P.M. At least one person was rushed to the hospital. It's unknown if the injuries are life threatening. Monroe Police officers have not determined a cause.
Also, traffic is flowing again on Highway 165 North, after a crash created problems on the pavement. Traffic was backed-up about a half of a mile Saturday night around 8 o'clock. That was caused by a crash near Bayou Desiard. Monroe police said one person was taken to the hospital. However, there were no serious injuries from the wreck.
