Rayville man arrested for having child pornography

RAYVILLE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - SBI agents arrest Christopher Browning on possession of child pornography charges.
The arrest was made in conjunction with an ongoing Operation Child Watch child pornography investigation. Browning's arrest occurred this week and resulted in his being charged with child pornography in conjunction with an ongoing Operation Child Watch child pornography investigation.
If convicted on all charges, Browning faces up to a $10,000 fine and up to 10 years in prison.
The mission of Operation Child Watch is to rescue children from the potential abuse of child predators by targeting those individuals with sexually explicit images and/or videos on their computers. This is an ongoing effort with other law enforcement agencies.
The Louisiana State Police on-line reporting system is available to the public through a secure reporting form that is submitted to investigators. Citizens can access the form by visiting www.lsp.org and clicking the suspicious activity link.
