ANGIE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - A Washington Parish man has been arrested and charged with 20 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles.
Agents arrested 23-year-old Joseph Lloyd Gerald of 53212 Jim Stuart Road, Angie, following a multi-agency investigation involving the Attorney General's High Technology Crime Unit, the Washington Parish Sheriff's Office, Louisiana State Police, and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations. Gerald was booked into the Washington Parish Jail without incident.
Gerald is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison on each count.
