RUSTON, LA. (KNOE 8 News) - To remember the men, women and children who have died under the abuse of domestic violence in their area this year, the Ruston Domestic Abuse Resistance Team will be hosting a vigil in honor of their memory.
The vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30th, in the meeting room in the Lincoln Parish Library.
There will be public speakers, dramatic readings of true stories of abuse and the victim's names will be read aloud as moments of silence are taken for each.
