FERRIDAY, La. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - Relatives are mourning the loss of a Ferriday man after his body was found Saturday afternoon on the Adams County side of the Mississippi River.
Deputies said 80-year-old Harold Short apparently fell from his boat and drowned during a fishing trip. Relatives declined to have an autopsy.
The search got underway after the Coast Guard found a boat with the motor running and live fish inside.
