MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Jack Hayes school in Monroe went on voluntary lockdown for a while Tuesday morning.
According to a Ouachita Parish Sheriff's deputy, there was a situation involving a domestic incident at an apartment complex near the school. The suspect fled, and is now confined in an area away from the school. Once the school learned the suspect was no longer in the area, school deputies took the school off of lockdown.
