WEST MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Four teenagers have been arrested in the wake of an overnight burglary in West Monroe.
Police arrived at the store on 7th Avenue shortly after the store's burglar alarm went off.
Unfortunately for the burglars, video surveillance cameras got pictures of the burglary in progress and the four were arrested shortly thereafter, still on foot near the store.
The four have been identified as Rayshad Gilbert, Temarkus Scott, Azbiun Price, and Marquarius York. All except Gilbert are from Monroe, Gilbert is from West Monroe.
West Monroe police officers have arrested four teens as suspects in Monday's burglary of a business in the 500 block of North Seventh Street.
Suspects arrested were Zabiun J. Price, 18, Marquarius D. York, 18, and Temarkus T. Scott, 18, all of Monroe, and Rayshad A. Gilbert, 19, of West Monroe.
Police responded to a burglar alarm shortly after midnight and found a front window had been broken.
The business' video surveillance system recorded the suspects as they burglarized the business, an arrest affidavit states. Police reported identifying the males and releasing the information to officers in the area.
The suspects were located later walking in the area, and according to police, they all implicated each other after being arrested.
