TIGER BEND, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Union Parish investigators have arrested a Tiger Bend area resident for simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and simple criminal damage to property.
David Michael Bull, 17, of 2052 Tiger Bend Rd., Marion, was in the Union Parish Detention Center on an $11,000 bond. The suspect has a probation hold against him on previous charges.
Investigators began investigating a mobile home burglary on Tiger Bend Road in early September where two televisions and a stereo were stolen. The investigation revealed that the suspect sold the two TVs to a local juvenile for $200.
According to investigators, Bull admitted to breaking into the mobile home by forcing open a window. He was arrested for the burglary Wednesday and at the same time charged with damage to property. Bull's neighbor told deputies that he suspected Bull of damaging his mailbox.
Bull told deputies he was mad at his neighbor so he punched the mailbox, knocking it off its post.
