ULM ski team heads for 2012 ski championship tourney

MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The University of Louisiana at Monroe's National Champion Water Ski Team will be in Zachary the 18th through the 20th of October for the National Ski Championship Tournament.
Of the 33 tournaments held for the championship, 23 have been captured by the ULM team.
In all, some 28 teams from across the nation competing in the NCWSA National Championship Tournament.
Treina Landrum, director of ULM Recreational Services and Water Ski Team coach says that ULM has had a strong fall season of skiing. The ULM Water Ski Team won the University of Texas Fall Classic, and their home tournament—the Fall 2012 Bayou Classic. The team also won the South Central Regional Tournament held in San Marcos, Texas, Oct. 6-7.
