LSU bomb threat suspect pleads

Posted: Updated:

BATON ROUGE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The 42-year-old man accused of making the bomb threat that cleared the LSU campus last month is pleading not guilty to the charges against him.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Docia Dalby has now ordered that Bouvay is to be held in federal custody without bond until his trial in December .

Bouvay was indicted by a federal grand jury last month on one count of willfully conveying false information concerning an attempt to destroy property by means of explosives. He faces similar charges of communicating false information about a planned bombing on school property.
