SHREVEPORT, La., (KNOE 8 News) - There was a gunfight reported in Shreveport.
Shreveport police say that a local man was arrested after firing at his girlfriend, who apparently returned fire.
No injuries were reported in the melee and the woman was not arrested. She told police that her boyfriend fired multiple shots at her before fleeing.
32-year-old Lovell Ellis was located a short time after the "gunfight" and arrested without incident. He was booked with one count of illegal use of a weapon.
