MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Ouachita Parish Coroner's office confirms that former Public Works Director "Bo" Boyte has died.
Boyte was convicted of malfeasance for his involvement with a police jury scandal. He was one of eight people indicted by a Ouachita Parish Grand Jury in 2003.
The cause of Boyte's death is unknown and his body is being sent to Little Rock, Arkansas, for an autopsy.
