West Ouachita Senior Center hosting a seniors event

WEST MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The West Ouachita Senior Center will be hosting a "Living longer and loving it" event on Monday, October 8th.
The event, which begins at 10am on the 8th and runs through 11:30am, is expected to attract hundreds of area seniors.
The seniors attending will all be actively engaged in physical fitness, music therapy simulation activities and will be getting valuable aging information while they're there.
The event will begin with a "Spoof on Dr. Oz", followed by audience participation for "Living Fit" – exercise demonstrations for seniors 80+. The second half of the program will engage the seniors on laughter and music therapy which promote longevity. All seniors will socialize while enjoying a healthy meal after the aging fitness workout.
