TALLULAH, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Madison High School say some homecoming activities are back on after being canceled back in September.

Earlier this week we learned that all homecoming festivities had been canceled, and only the football game would be played at Madison High School.

Madison High parent, Celia Long, tells us the week-long activities were canceled after a fight broke out at school on campaign day for homecoming court. Tallulah Police confirmed there was a fight on September 27th on the schools campus.

School Principal Clara Durr refused to say whether the fight sparked the decision to cancel homecoming. Court will be walking at half-time during the football game and the parade is set for 3:30pm on October 19th, all other events remain canceled.
