Deputies said that when they arrived on the scene they found Morris in his pickup truck. They said the woman told them that the other man ran into a wooded area. Deputies recovered nearly $7,500 in material taken from the trucks and trailer.

Later in the morning, deputies were called back to the scene where they said they found Murphrey under the back porch. Apparently he had tried to enter the front and back doors of the house before deputies arrived.
