WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Ready for a taste of fall? One of the area's first pumpkin patches is now open.
They're being sold at West Monroe's first United Methodist Church and if you buy a pumpkin, you'll get more than just a treat, proceeds from sales benefit the Navajo Nation in New Mexico and locally fund the food bank's backpack program at Lenwil Elementary. The backpack program supplies low income children with a bag full of food to last a weekend.
The pumpkin patch is located at 1411 Glenwood Drive in West Monroe.
