BATON ROUGE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Public hearings will be held in nine Louisiana cities starting this week to discuss area highway projects and needs.
The first of the nine meetings is scheduled for this Wednesday in Baton Rouge.
Others hearings will be held in Winnsboro, Monroe; Shreveport, Alexandria, Jefferson Parish, Lake Charles, Lafayette and Amite.
The gatherings are an annual series by the state Department of Transportation and Development and the Legislature's Joint Highway Priority Construction Committee.
