WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Residents along Lakewood Drive in West Monroe are speaking out about one of their neighbors who they never got the chance to know that well.
"He kept to himself a lot and never really was a part of our neighborhood," Drew Parker said.
That neighbor is 24-year-old Daniel Dadgar with an online name of "Big Sexy". Dadgar is being held at the Ouachita Correctional Center, booked on 85 counts of having child porn. Louisiana State Police started surfing through cyberspace in August, looking for signs of Dadgar,possibly,breaking the law.
"If it is true, he deserves to serve his punishment," Patrick Watson said.
Last week, law enforcement showed up to this house on the 100 block of Lakewood Drive to arrest the man they say had illegal images of children.
"I walked out my house the morning the cops were at his...and I don't think he was home at the moment," Watson said.
Dadgar's relatives didn't answer the door. And neighbors say the family is relatively new to the area.
"I would not have expected that from a neighbor, especially one who just moved in...kind of shocking," Watson said.
If convicted, Dadgar faces a $75,000 fine and up to 25 years in prison.

WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A West Monroe man is in jail accused of having child pornography.
Police said Daniel Dadgar,24, had child pornography on his computer. According to investigators, they found images of sexually abused children.
Investigators searched his home last week Wednesday.
During that search, police said they found 12 grams of marijuana, 4 clonazepam pills and a large assortment of drug paraphernalia.
Dadgar was booked into the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center on child porn and drug charges.
If convicted on all counts, Dadgar faces up to a $75,000 fine and up to 25 years in prison.
