WEST CARROLL PARISH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Police are on the scene in West Carroll Parish where a 13-year-old died after a collision with an 18-wheeler on highway 2.
According to the Chief Deputy, a 16-year-old female was behind the wheel of the car and pulled out in front of an 18-wheeler. The car was then broadsided by the truck, killing the younger passenger and injuring the 16-year-old who has been hospitalized.
The investigation into the fatal crash is continuing.
