MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Average price of a gallon in Louisiana dropped almost a nickle a gallon this past week.
Moving downward 4.4¢, the average price in Louisiana is now $3.62 a gallon, which is 33.6¢ a gallon higher than it was a year ago, and 8.8¢ higher than a month ago.
Nationally, the price fell 4.3¢ this past week, also reaching $3.81 a gallon which is 29¢ higher than a year ago and 8.8¢ a month ago.
