MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - The body of Charles Trascher, a Monroe lawyer, has been found in the Ouachita River.
Charles Trascher, 64, was reported missing shortly after six Thursday evening. His family says Trascher never returned home from a fishing trip.
Around 6:30 Saturday morning, LA Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Deputies discovered his body about one mile south of where his boat was found.
Statement from Charlen Campbell, Trascher's daughter:
"My entire family wants to thank everyone from Wildlife and Fisheries and Ouachita Sheriff's office for their hard work. They've been absolutely amazing through all of this. Also, to the outpour of support and all the volunteers that helped the search. We simply can't express our gratitude."
