WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A West Monroe mother is frantically searching for her 19 year old daughter, Brittany Crenshaw.
HATTIESBURG, Ms. (KNOE 8 News) - KNOE 8 News is following breaking news in the case of a missing West Monroe teen that we first broke for you Monday.
KNOE 8 News has learned within the hour that the burned body found near Hattiesburg, Mississippi is in fact that of 19 year-old Brittany Crenshaw.
The Forrest County Sheriff's Office tells us that they've identified the body found about an hour south of Crenshaw's home as her using dental records.
Crenshaw was reported missing last Friday near Hattiesburg, Mississippi by her fiancee Benjamin Davis. Crenshaw's family say Davis was also the last person to see her alive.
Davis was arrested Wednesday night on homicide charges. Deputies tell us they've given Davis two lie detector tests and he's failed both of them.
