MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A federal court denies the suspended Monroe superintendent's request for a restraining order. The ruling that's not in favor of Superintendent Kathleen Harris came down late Wednesday. Monroe School Board members say that means they can continue a special meetingThursday about Harris' nine charges against her leadership. Those findings were handed to the suspended school leader after an investigation several weeks ago. The board is scheduled to start that meeting at 1 o'clock in the afternoon.
