MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A former West Monroe pastor is back in the area releasing his second book. Actors took to the stage at the First Baptist Church of West Monroe, acting out a couple scenes from the novel. This is Scotty Sanders' first fantasy fiction book titled "Quest of the Keys". The author says his main goal is to empower young adults and teens.
"This is my way of really communicating to the next generation on how they can do that. I realize I'm getting older, so for the younger generation," Sanders said. "I want to have a message that they'll understand, so making it relevant through a narrative and a story so they can learn about these principals I've been teaching for many, many years."
Sanders first book titled "One Focus Living" is also available on Amazon-Dot-Com. The new release event wrapped up with a book signing earlier Sunday night.
