RICHLAND PARISH, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Overnight storms left thousands of homes in NELA without power.
According to an Entergy spokesman about 6,500 customers lost power during the storm passage last night, about half of those in Richland Parish. Another 1,500 were in Morehouse Parish. Also, 900 customers in Franklin Parish and 800 outages were reported in and near Delhi.
Entergy crews have been out in the field since last night repairing downed power lines and downed poles.
At last count, there were an estimated 3,750 outages still to be repaired.
