LAFAYETTE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Investigators have identified the remains discovered in Evangeline Parish Tuesday as those of Michaela "Mickey" Shunick.
Investigators received information on the morning of August 7, 2012, as to the location of Mickey Shunick's body. On a property off of Louisiana Highway 10, near its intersection with Louisiana Highway 13, in Evangeline Parish, officials discovered the buried body.
The Lafayette Police Department has confirmed that the body is that of Mickey Shunick.
