RUSTON, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A sad follow-up, in the search for Louisiana Tech's mascot.
The university has released a statement confirming that the english bulldog called "Tech 20" or "L.T." was in fact not missing -- but left outside too long and died of heat stroke.
Doctor Patrick Sexton is the dog's caretaker and was out of town -- keeping the dog at his kennel. Sexton says an employee of the clinic left the dog out too long and then tried to cover up the accident.
