MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The City of Monroe Public Works Department has advised that the Forsythe boat launch ramp is closed Tuesday, July 31 and most of Wednesday, August 1 while some work is done to the inlet on the Ouachita river.
Some silt is going to be removed from the boat launch inlet and around the sewer pump-out station. Dredge crews are setting up now and expect to start work between 12 noon and 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 31.
