MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Motorists may want to check over their license plates. Louisiana State Police officers are keeping close tabs on your tag. They're beefing up patrol after a string of complaints. They're checking to see if your plate is visible and readable. If they're not, state police say you will have to pay a fine for breaking the law.
