VICKSBURG, Ms., (KNOE 8 News) - The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking new and innovative ways to improve its products and services to the public. USACE is leading the way as a key player in hurricane protection, construction modeling, flood risk management and military development projects.

Inventors are urged to submit their research and developmental ideas to USACE for evaluation and development. The submission and evaluation process is included on the following web page, along with some guidelines to protect the patentable right you may have on your submission:

For the widest dissemination of your information in the Corps, only information on patented inventions should be submitted. More info on obtaining patents is available on the US Patent and Trademark Office website: http://www.uspto.gov

Please do not submit information on commercial products (examples could include advertisements, sales literature or price lists).  If you are selling a product, the USACE website at http://www.usace.army.mil/BusinessWithUs.aspx has important information for vendors on doing business with USACE.
