According to State Police, a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 47-year-old Richard Word of Grayson, Louisiana was traveling west on Louisiana Highway 850 when it left the roadway.

While not all crashes are survivable, the proper wearing of a seat belt is the best way to reduce injuries and fatalities in car crashes.
