WINN PARISH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The burn ban in Winn parish was lifted Wednesday.
According to Parish Fire Chief Charles Long, "Per Winn Parish Ordinance 003 of 2006 I hereby declare the Burn Ban...be lifted effective July 18, 2012 due to a significant amount of rain last week. The drought index is holding at 450 at this time."
