VIDALIA, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Concordia Parish authorities are continuing their search for a 15-year-old who is suspected of shooting and killing his stepfather.
The stepfather, shot in the stomach and shoulder, died at a Jackson hospital late this past weekend following the shooting.
A warrant for the teen's arrest on an attempted second-degree murder charge was actually issued after the shooting but prior to the stepfather dying. The death of the victim will likely mean a more serious charge will be leveled against the teenager.
