MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Atlantic tropics remain quiet at this time and no development is expected within the next 48 hours.
However, on the other side of the world, we have a Tropical Storm Daniel, Major Hurricane Emilia, and another area of disturbed weather that could develop into a tropical cyclone soon. None of these systems are a threat to land but they are making for something interesting to watch from a distance.
