MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - More road construction is on the way for a portion of Highway 165 in Monroe. Crews will be working on the southbound lanes from State Road 134 in Sterlington to the Louisville Avenue-Desiard Street overpass. This will cause nightly lane closures starting Monday night until early Monday morning next week. The state department of transportation says drive with caution through the site and lookout for work crews and their equipment.
