MONROE, LA., (KNOE 8 News) - Beginning next Monday, the 25th, U.S. 165 will have nightly lane closures to allow construction crews to work on the road surfaces.
The nightly closures will occur on Southbound US 165 in Ouachita Parish, from its junction with LA 134 in Sterlington to the Louisville Ave./Desiard St. Overpass in Monroe, from Monday, June 25, 2012 through Sunday, July 1, 2012
The scheduled lane restrictions will be in effect from 7pm until am during the week, and 8pm to 10am Friday nights to Saturday mornings. On Saturday nights, work will start at 7pm and run until Noon Sundays, then restart at 6pm Sundays and run until 7am Mondays.
The lane closures will allow vehicles 16-feet wide and smaller to pass through the construction zone.
