MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - LifeShare Blood Centers are asking for blood donors. According to the company, they are critically short of type O blood types.
The company asks that anyone who is Type O and is currently eligible to give blood, to come by one of their centers and give blood as soon as possible.
They are also holding drives in various areas in the mobile units.
During the summer months, blood needs increase but the giving traditionally decreases.
