Crime Stoppers: Double Homicide

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for your help in solving this crime.

On June 8, 2012, the OPSO was called to 4541 Winnsboro Road, Monroe in reference to a homicide investigation. The investigation revealed that Russell Atkins - AKA "Russell White" - 38 years of age and Dexter Burkhalter, 41 years of age, had been murdered. The bodies were found inside the home. Additionally, the investigation indicates that this is a drug related crime.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to two thousand dollars for information leading to the arrest or grand jury indictment of the person or persons responsible for this crime, or any other felony crime in Ouachita Parish.
