Water tank rehab to close some city streets

MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Several city streets in Monroe will be closed during a period that begins today (June 13th) and runs all the way to September 30th.

The city Engineering and Traffic departments say that drivers will be facing temporary closures on the following streets: Grammont, Stanley, Commerce and Collier. (Stanley to Grammont; Commerce to Stanley; Commerce to Collier)

The reason for the closures is so the city can do a rehabilitation of the elevated Water Tank located.
