MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Things aren't looking too bright for Monroe City School Board Superintendent Kathleen Harris.
Earlier this month, Harris received a job performance evaluation - and overall the numbers show that she isn't getting a thumbs up from most board members.
On a number scale from one to four--most board members rated Harris as under performing.
Tuesday night, the board will be meeting to discuss her employment evaluation - in which board members described her as ineffective, incompetent, unprofessional, vindictive, and argumentative.
Although she appears to maintain her cool during school board meetings. We'll see if Harris will keep her cool tonight after an executive session to discuss her evaluation.
That meeting will followed by a public session to discuss the renewal or non-renewal of the superintendent's employment contract which expires December 30.
The board is required to notify Harris by September 30 if they do not intend on renewing her contract.
