MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - ULM has notified 121 people that their personal information may have been compromised after a university e-mail account was hacked.

The university says the security breach involved the e-mail account of an employee in the "Upward Bound" program.  People affected include students who enrolled as freshmen but never returned after their first year, 83 high school students who were prospects for the "Upward Bound" program and two former ULM employees.

Anyone who took part in the "Upward Bound" program between 2009 and 2012 is urged to call the executive director of Trio programs at (318) 237-5741.
