TIMPSON, Tx., (KNOE 8 News) - What's being called a moderate earthquake rattled an area in east Texas near the Louisiana border overnight.
The area hit is not far from another small quake (3.7-3.9 or so) that occurred earlier this week in Texas.
According to the National Earthquake Information Center, this latest quake occurred just after 3 this morning near Timpson, Texas, and registered a 4.3 magnitude.
As in the one earlier this week, damage was limited to broken windows and dishes with no major damage being reporter. Injuries, if any, have been light and non-life threatening.
Reports from the area indicate that this quake was felt as far away as 75 miles from the epicenter.
