MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Sharonda Buggs said she concerned that a long time battle between her daughter and a schoolmate is going to turn deadly if police don't do something about it.

"Somebody's going to get hurt," said Buggs.

Buggs has printed out vicious Facebook threats made towards her family.

One comment reads: I already had you in the hospital on your last breath, this time I'm going to make sure if I go to jail or anything it's going to be for murder.

Buggs has already made calls to police, but she doesn't  believe police are looking into the matter because of her family's criminal history.

" I was the type of person back then that if anybody did anything to me I'm going to retaliate just like that," said Buggs. "I haven't done that, I'm trying to do it the legal way.

Louisiana law defines messages like these as cyber bullying. Buggs admits her daughter isn't innocent and said her daughter won't back down from a fight.

"I'm trying to get this done the right way because she has my exact attitude," said Buggs.  "She's not afraid of anything."

But Buggs fear is for the worse.

"The law isn't going to do anything until it's too late," said Buggs.
