More than 20 being rounded up in Franklin Parish

 FRANKLIN PARISH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - A narcotics warrant sweep today in Franklin Parish is putting more than 20 individuals in jail.

So far, 16 people are already in custody at the Franklin Parish Detention Center on drug related charges. These arrests are a result of an ongoing investigation conducted by the Franklin Parish Sheriff's Department Narcotics Division reaching Parishwide as a result of illegal activity occurring in Winnsboro, Wisner, Crowville and Gilbert areas.

Sheriff Kevin Cobb said, "...the Narcotics Division has been working diligently to secure these cases. These are street level dealers directly affecting our community. They were responsible for putting marijuana, powder cocaine, crack cocaine and controlled prescriptions on our streets."

The list of suspects have been arrested thus far includes:

2. Ralph Lynn Thompson (70 year old male of Winnsboro, LA)
Distribution of Schedule III CDS (2 counts)

3. Teborheis M. Blunt (23 year old male of Winnsboro, LA)
Distribution of Marijuana (1 count)
Distribution of Schedule III CDS (1 count)
Total Bond: $50,000.00

4. Joshua C. Kelly (20 year old male of Winnsboro, LA)
Distribution of Marijuana (1 count)
Total Bond: $25,000.00

5. Steven L. Mays (27 year old male of Winnsboro, LA)
Distribution of Legend Drug (1 count)
Possession of Legend Drug (1 count)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (1 count)
Total Bond: $30,500.00

6. Curtis E. White (58 year old male of Gilbert, LA)
Distribution of Schedule IV CDS (1 count)
Total Bond: $25,000.00

7. Georgia Johnson (49 year old female of Winnsboro, LA)
