Two people arrested in the Pecanland Mall shooting

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Two people have been arrested and accused of being involved in a Pecanland Mall Shooting. Monroe Police say Christopher Coleman and Nicholus Lawson were involved in Saturday's shooting. They were booked early Sunday morning at the OCC facing attempted second degree murder charges.

Police say at least one man was shot in the upper body outside Burlington Coat Factory at the mall. He was taken to the hospital.

Investigators are still interviewing witnesses in hopes of finding out more information.

Coleman and Lawson are being held,each,on an $80,000 bond.
