LSU's Mike Martin talking with Colorado State officials

BATON ROUGE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - As we reported earlier this week, LSU Chancellor Mike Martin is looking hard at the Chancellor's job at Colorado State. And to that end, is in Denver Thursday.
Martin and the CSU governing board members began negotiations aimed at Martin moving from Baton Rouge to Denver.
Some of the Board members made the comment today that Martin is a visionary and proven leader who can build strong relationships with civic leaders, lawmakers and businessmen.
In regards the possible move to CSU, Martin has said, "My single criteria for deciding what to do at this stage of my professional life is this - where do I have the best chance of making a positive difference?"
The current chancellor of the Colorado State University system, Joe Blake, is retiring after three years.
The CSU chancellor oversees a three-campus system, which includes an online campus.
