WEST CARROLL, PARISH, (KNOE 8 News) - Two boil advisories have been issued in West Carroll Parish for the Goodwill Water System.
The Goodwill system itself is under a boil advisory because of problems within the system.
In addition, the Fiske Union Water System, which gets its water from the Goodwill System, has also issued a boil advisory for its customers.
The advisory extends to food service establishments as well as individual system customers of each of the systems.
Each advisory will remain in effect until rescinded by the individual water system authorities.
The advisory advises users to boil any water intended for consumption for a full minute after a rolling boil has been reached. This applies to water intended for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth or use in any food preparation and/or rinsing of foods.
