Crime Stoppers: Aggravated Battery

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Monroe Police need your help in identifying the person or persons wanted for an aggravated battery that occurred on April 4, 2012 at 40 Girod Street in Monroe.

On the day in question around 10pm., a female was driving home and stopped at the intersection of Girod and South 8th Street in Monroe, when an unknown suspect or suspects fired a shot from an unknown type of handgun. The bullet entered the female's vehicle and grazed the back of her one year old daughter who was sitting in the front seat. The child was immediately taken to a local hospital, where she was treated and released.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to two thousand dollars for information leading to the arrest or grand jury indictment of the person or persons responsible for this crime, or any other felony crime in Ouachita Parish.
