MONROE, La (KNOE 8 News) - The Monroe Police Department needs your help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in an armed robbery that occurred on February 24, 2012 at 201 Louisville, Discount Liquor.
On this date a black male described at 5'5" to 5'7" wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt and some type of mask, entered the store with a long barrel gun which was covered by a shirt. The suspect forced the clerk at gunpoint to the back of the store and made the clerk take money from the safe.
The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money through the rear door of the business. The suspect was picked up in a small silver 4 door car with a spare tire on the front right or passenger's side. The vehicle was last seen going north on North 2nd. Street in Monroe.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to two thousand dollars for information leading to the arrest or grand jury indictment of the person or persons responsible for this crime, or any other felony crime in Ouachita Parish.
